How STS GasCheck uses contact details
Staffordshire Training Services Limited asks for your first name and email address when you open the shared calculator link. A mobile number is optional. We use these details to understand who is using this STS resource and to respond if you contact us about it. We record when you submitted the form.
You can use the calculator whether or not you choose marketing updates. If you tick the separate, optional box, we record that choice and may email you occasional STS technical updates, training resources and course information. We do not add unticked contacts to a marketing list. You can withdraw marketing consent by emailing us or using an unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Form details are stored in STS GasCheck's protected database and are available to authorised STS staff. If you opt into marketing and STS connects its Brevo account, your first name and email address are also passed to Brevo for STS marketing emails. Your mobile number is not sent to Brevo by this calculator. STS plans to review contact records and delete them when no longer needed; contact us to request access, correction or erasure of your information. When you choose “Remember me on this device”, the calculator keeps your first name, email, optional mobile number and marketing preference in this browser for up to 180 days, alongside a small first-party cookie that avoids asking for details again. You can open Contact details and choose “Forget this device” to remove this local copy. This does not remove the record already held by STS; contact us to request its erasure. On a shared device, leave “Remember me” unticked. This is a device preference, not an account sign-in.
This calculator does not automatically send the property or test details you enter to STS. The form does not ask for a customer's name or property address. The calculations remain on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
